2020 NAFEA Webinar Series
Beyond 2020 and COVID-19: The Road to Recovery

NAFEA is the national peak body for higher education staff involved in the logistics and administration of work-integrated learning across Australia. Each year, NAFEA brings together a range of stakeholders from across the WIL cycle including NAFEA members, WIL administrators, WIL Researchers, placement providers and policy makers to network.

The theme for the 2020 NAFEA webinar series is Beyond 2020 and COVID-19: The Road to Recovery. The series will be focussed on COVID-19 and the recovery process.

The webinar series will provide a forum for practitioners, administrators and other allies to engage with like-minded professionals to discuss strategies, innovations and practices. The NAFEA conference is a valuable opportunity for professional development.

Keynote Speaker

Managing Your Motivation

Sponsored by Phuel

A learning experience like no other!  Managing Your Motivation explores how individuals can manage their “emotional state” more effectively and by doing so, have greater control over their behaviour, results and impact on team dynamics – particularly when times are tough.

We explore the strategies behind performance improvement, focusing on an individual’s ability to access their ability. Designed to create impact, this experience will awaken a desire in people to explore what it is they do when they are performing at their best.

Key outcomes include:

  • Understanding what the key attributes are of someone who performs at a consistently high level
  • Understanding how we can control the way we feel by playing the “inner game” rather than allowing external experiences to drive our responses
  • Understanding that no matter how great the plans, the product, the systems and processes, you have to have the will and the want to make it happen!
